The purpose of the basic skills competitions is to provide skaters in the badge programs an opportunity to compete against other skaters at their own level.  A skater is allowed to compete in their last badge level passed and/or one level higher.

All skaters who have not passed any USFSA tests are eligible to compete. Skaters who have passed some of these tests may be eligible to compete. Please see the individual competition requirements for details.
